Maritime Component CSMR Insignia & Uniform Guidance

This set of emblems and patches for the new Maritime Component of the California State Military Reserve uses existing U.S. Navy insignia as a basis. I worked closely with the officer in charge of the project to produce digital mockups of distinctive insignia to be worn by military personnel. I formatted the content provided for the new Uniform Guidance manual, which illustrates how uniforms and insignia are to be worn, using the Navy’s style guide to implement color, typefaces, and graphic elements to connect them to their Naval counterparts. I did some minor editing of the manual’s content and created special pages (insignia descriptions, history and tradition, rank charts).
